Honey Pineapple is a sweet tribute to Pat's grandfather and his cherished bee farm in Jamaica. This preserve captures the essence of golden pineapples with a drizzle of honey, evoking memories of sun-soaked days on the island.
Sorrel Hibiscus Cherry is a delightful blend that pays homage to the vibrant culture of the Caribbean. With the tartness of sorrel (hibiscus) and the richness of cherries, this preserve also carries warm spice notes that are reminiscent of the traditional floral, spiced sorrel beverage often enjoyed during holiday celebrations. What is Jerk?
Jerk is a method of cooking meat similar to barbecuing that originated in Jamaica. It also refers to the seasoning/marinade used which is a combination of peppers, herbs, and spices called jerk seasoning. It was first developed by the Maroons who used this method to cook wild hogs. Eventually, other meats such as chicken used this cooking method and its seasoning. Today, Jerk Chicken, the jerk cooking method and its seasoning is a popular culinary feature not only in Jamaica but the Caribbean and Caribbean populated parts of the world.
Our Jerk Marinating Sauce
With our Jerk Marinating Sauces, we wanted to honor tradition while giving this sauce a new look and approach that creates flexibility in any kitchen. At the base of all our sauces are peppers, organic herbs, and spices traditional to jerk seasoning. We gave each sauce an update where when used individually carries their own unique jerk flavor, when mixed and match with each other creates a new flavor and when combined all together creates a very authentic jerk flavor. Our sauces are perfect for marinating, seasoning, or dressing fish, seafood, meats, poultry, vegetables, soups, stews, sauces, dips, and more.
While our Red Hot Jerk Marinating Sauce brings the heat and is packed with bold intense jerk flavors, our Mellow Yellow Jerk Marinating Sauce is less spicy and adds brightness and zest, and our Go-to-Green Jerk Marinating Sauce is very light on heat and heavy on herbs. When a dish requires some heat and herbs try a combination of our Red Hot and Go-to-Green. When you want to add some extra zest throw in our Mellow Yellow.

We created a curation of spices to focus on what makes spice blends special. We often turn our spice pantry upside down to find a perfect combination that makes our dishes just right. But what makes our blends just right? Is it the flavor? Is it the quality? Or is it the memory or feeling it transports us to when we take that first bite? We wanted to curate a collection that infuses all these ideas. A spice blend that delivers on quality, checks all the flavor boxes, and awakens those special memories.
Spices have a long history of moving across the world most famously through the spice trade. As such, a wide variety of spices from across the world are readily available. The high demand for spices can cause varying degrees of quality and neglect to the producers. When we purchase a bottle of spice, that one bottle may contain spices from various parts of the world that vary in their degree of freshness and quality. In creating our curated spice blends we wanted to work with companies that stand by small farmers and their products. Most of our blends are created using single-origin spices which means the ingredients are sourced from one place. This process of sourcing keeps not only the small farmers in mind but also the quality of each ingredient. We wanted to take our production a step further and produce our blends in small batches. This allows us to guarantee that you are getting the freshest blend possible from our kitchen.
With our curated spice blends, we have created a growing line of products that will arouse and stimulate all your senses. A whiff of Raymond’s Jerk Spice Rub immediately transports you to your favorite jerk spot and is overwhelmed by all sweet, spicy, and smokey smells being developed on the pit. The immediate pop of heat followed by the sweet taste takes you back to your first tantalizing experience of Jerk.
