    Responsibilities

    This is a part-time hybrid internship role as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Spanish Town Kitchen

    The Social Media Marketing Intern will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and managing the company's social media platforms

    This position requires a combination of in-office and remote work

  • Marketing Assistant

    Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings/events as needed)
    Type: Part-Time (12–25 hours per week)
    Hourly Rate: $18–$20/hour

    Responsibilities & Weekly Hours Estimate

    Content Creation & Social Media Management (40-50%):

    Drafting posts, creating graphics, scheduling content, and engaging with followers across platforms.

    Estimated Hours: 5–13 hours per week

    Campaign Support & Reporting (25-30%):

    Assisting with email marketing, monitoring analytics, and executing promotional campaigns.

    Estimated Hours: 3–7 hours per week

    Event Support & Coordination (10-20%):

    Supporting the planning and promotion of events, creating marketing materials, and providing logistical support.

    Estimated Hours: 1–5 hours per week

    Administrative Tasks (10-15%):

    Organizing marketing files, maintaining content calendars, and brainstorming new ideas and strategies with the team.

    Estimated Hours: 1–4 hours per week

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (internships included).

    Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.

    Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Later).

    Basic understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).

    Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.

    Creativity and a passion for storytelling.

    Preferred Skills

    Graphic design or video editing experience.

    Knowledge of Caribbean culture and food traditions.

    Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Meta Insights.
